The Florence Professional Firefighters Association Local 270 is held a T-Shirt Fundraiser this June for Autism Awareness. The Autism Society of Alabama and The Arc of the Shoals are the beneficiaries of 100 percent of the profit from the T-shirt sales. The Coleman Group has committed to donating 50 percent of its profit to the two foundations.
At this time, about $3,000.00 was raised for the Arc of the Shoals and an additional $3,000.00 for the Autism Society of Alabama.
We would like to thank Mike Stamps, Kim Sennett, Emari Hutto, Dustin Phillips, and Murray Townsend for attending the event at McFarland Park where Autism Kits were presented to the Florence Fire Department.
