The Arc of the Shoals hosted their annual membership drive for the entire month of March. Our goal was to have 100 total members this year. Sadly, at this time we are at 33% of our goal.
When you join The Arc of the Shoals as a general member, you become part of a network of families, self-advocates, and individuals who provide support, information, and encouragement to one another.
Members are essential as we continue our mission of advocating for a better life for our exceptional needs population in the Shoals. Your partnership helps protect the rights of people with disabilities and to ensure that resources and supports are available to meet their needs.
You unite with many strong voices that public officials listen to and respect in the Shoals, Montgomery, and Washington D.C.
Your general membership allows you the opportunity of electing board members to represent you at a local level. As a general member, you are welcome to attend open board meetings and serve on committees.
The power lies within the membership of the Arc of the Shoals, and by becoming a member you show your dedication to our community members with exceptional needs.
