March 2022 Newsletter- Membership Drive

By Dustin Phillips

The Arc of the Shoals is hosting their annual membership drive during the entire month of March.

When you join The Arc of the Shoals as a general member, you become part of a network of families, self-advocates, and individuals who provide support, information, and encouragement to one another.

Members are essential as we continue our mission of advocating for a better life for our exceptional needs population in the Shoals. Your partnership helps protect the rights of people with disabilities and to ensure that resources and supports are available to meet their needs.

You unite with many strong voices that public officials listen to and respect in the Shoals, Montgomery, and Washington D.C.

Your general membership allows you the opportunity of electing board members to represent you at a local level. As a general member, you are welcome to attend open board meetings and serve on committees.

The power lies within the membership of the Arc of the Shoals, and by becoming a member you show your dedication to our community members with exceptional needs.

If you would like to become a member, we encourage you to scan the QR code below. There is a due of $10 per member, and you may pay by check, Venmo, or Paypal.

We strongly encourage you to promote our membership drive on all forms of social media. We have a goal of 100 members this year, and we believe we can achieve that!

Also, membership updates will start coming from a new email address titled Arc of the Shoals Public Relations & Recruitment. This will allow the committee the opportunity to collaborate and send information from one account instead of using personal/work emails.

If you have questions, please contact the Public Relations & Recruitment Committee at
